Marlene Elaine (Elske) Stadler Celebration of life June 28 for longtime Lynnwood resident

Marlene Elaine Stadler, a beloved Lynnwood resident, passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on September 5, 1934, she grew up in Marysville and graduated from Marysville High School in 1952. Marlene became involved with the Alderwood Manor Fire Department Women's Auxiliary after her husband Karl joined the fire department in 1958. In addition to her community service, she was a Camp Fire Girls leader and worked for the Snohomish County Election Department in the 1970s and 80s. She was a founding member of the Camano Island Quilters and gained recognition as the featured quilter at their annual show in 1999.

Marlene crafted over 80 quilts, showcasing her dedication to the craft. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will take place on June 28, 2025, with donations encouraged to the South County Firefighter Foundation.
