Morris, who has six years of law enforcement experience and serves as the Police Officers’ Association President, aims to enhance public safety and community services for Edmonds residents. He emphasized his commitment to building regional partnerships while advocating for local interests. Although he will not have a vote on the board, he will actively participate in discussions regarding emergency services. The RFA Board consists of seven commissioners who define the agency's vision and budget.

Registered voters in the RFA service area will vote for board members in the upcoming general election on November 4, 2025. Three commissioner seats are up for election this year, with two candidates running for each. Edmonds residents will be eligible to run for commissioner positions after district boundaries are redrawn to include the city.
