In Days Gone By Revitalizing the Meadowdale Community Club

Edmonds, WALocal News

The Meadowdale Community Club hosted an open house on Saturday, attracting around 100 participants to revitalize community engagement following COVID-19 disruptions. Attendees viewed historical photos showcasing the club's origins, built by local residents nearly 70 years ago. The event featured interactive idea-sharing sessions on topics like social events, seasonal celebrations, and community service projects. Organizers provided name tags to facilitate mingling, with colors representing how long individuals had lived in the area. Refreshments were provided by Cottage Bakery, and craft tables catered to children.

This initiative reflects the club's efforts to enhance its outreach and relevance in the community. As the club seeks to reestablish its presence, the feedback gathered will help shape future programming. The Meadowdale Community Club continues to serve residents of Edmonds, Lynnwood, and unincorporated Snohomish County.
