Sponsor spotlight AI For Everyone returns to Edmonds College June 28

Edmonds College will host its third annual AI For Everyone Day on June 28 from 9:30 a. m. to 1:30 p. m. at Hazel Miller Hall in Lynnwood.

This free event is designed to make artificial intelligence accessible to all community members, regardless of their backgrounds. According to Dr. Carey Schroyer, Dean of STEM, the event aims to demystify AI and provide attendees with the tools to understand its transformative potential. The theme, "Applications and Opportunities in Our Community," will focus on everyday AI applications and emerging opportunities for local residents. Participants can engage in interactive workshops, listen to expert talks, and practice using AI tools in hands-on labs, with no prior experience required.

Parking will be available in lots A, B, C, E, and F, and check-in will take place between 9:45 a. m. and 10:15 a. m. The initiative reflects Edmonds College's commitment to community education and engagement in rapidly evolving technologies.

Attendees will also have the chance to learn about AI-related courses and programs available at the college.

Gas tax will rise in Washington on July 1
