Reminder McDonald McGarry Insurance to host annual shredding event and food drive June 21

On June 21, McDonald McGarry Insurance will host its annual shredding event and food drive from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m. This year, the event will again feature a mobile shredding truck from Grange Insurance and LeMay Mobile Shredding, allowing attendees to witness their documents being shredded in real-time.

Participants can bring a maximum of four bags or boxes of sensitive documents for shredding, as the truck tends to fill up quickly. The event also invites donations of food for both people and pets, which will be delivered to the Edmonds Food Bank. Over the years, this initiative has resulted in more than 10 truckloads of food and donations being sent to the food bank. Cash contributions are welcomed to further support those in need.
