Meadowdale High School Class of 2025 Take chances and let your moments happen
Meadowdale High School honored 330 graduates from the Class of 2025 during a ceremony on Saturday, marking a pivotal moment as they were the first class to experience all four years of high school in-person after the pandemic. Valedictorian Harper Wright spoke about resilience in the face of adversity, while her co-valedictorian Ruhne Wendt encouraged classmates to remain present and embrace life’s moments. Student speaker Issac Fortin reflected on personal growth and the importance of seizing opportunities throughout high school. Staff speaker Troy Parker inspired graduates to fill their life stories with meaningful experiences. Principal Kim Whitworth recognized the academic achievements of 11 students who maintained a perfect GPA and nine students who earned associate's degrees alongside their diplomas.
The ceremony also paid tribute to Hector Ramirez-Lopez, a student who passed away in February, with his diploma presented to his family. The event highlighted the community spirit and perseverance of the graduating class. A video of the full ceremony is available online for viewing.
