School Board celebrates spring sports athletes and student advisors

The Edmonds School Board celebrated spring sports athletes during its June 10 meeting, acknowledging their hard work and achievements. Catie Ingalls, a standout from Edmonds-Woodway High School, earned First Team All-Wesco honors and will play at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Ella Campbell and Abby McCorvey also received commendations, helping their team achieve a Wesco South Championship and a trip to the state tournament with a 17-win season. Lynnwood's Sergio Navarro gained All-Wesco recognition for his performance in baseball, while Meadowdale's Jaeden Sajec led her team with impressive statistics in fastpitch softball, securing a scholarship to Seattle University. The recognition of these athletes underscores the role of sports in enhancing school spirit and community engagement.
