By rubbing the Thrifty Bear and submitting a coupon with their contact information, guests can enter to win a private preview session of the showroom's latest arrivals, along with refreshments. Officially opened in March 2025, the showroom is part of the Edmonds Senior Center Thrift Store and offers a range of lightly used furniture and decor at reasonable prices. Operating hours are 11 a. m.

to 6 p. m. Wednesday through Sunday, making it accessible for many community members. Sales proceeds contribute to programs and services at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, which supports thousands of seniors in the area each year. The weekly drawings occur every Sunday, with winners receiving exclusive invitations for Friday morning preview sessions.
