Expect nighttime work closures on I-405 in Bothell June 9-13

The Washington State Department of Transportation warns drivers of nighttime closures on I-405 in Bothell from June 9-13 as part of the I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project. Northbound I-405 will close at State Route 522 from 11:59 p. m. June 9 to 5 a. m.

June 10, while southbound lane reductions will begin on June 10. Rolling slowdowns will occur from 11:59 p. m. to 4 a. m.

until June 13, allowing crews to safely remove signs overhead. Detours will be established for the closed ramps, including the southbound I-405 to westbound SR 522 ramp and the Northeast 195th Street on-ramp. The project aims to enhance roadway capacity and safety for drivers. Drivers should anticipate delays and adjust their travel plans accordingly. The Washington State Department of Transportation emphasizes that these closures are necessary for the safety of both crews and motorists.
