As of June 5, 2025, the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission has released the latest campaign finance reports for local races in Edmonds and surrounding areas. Chris Eck, the incumbent for City Council Pos 1, leads with $22,892. 23 raised, while Glenda Krull has reported $8,759. 50 in contributions. Will Chen, also an incumbent, raised $14,150.

00 for City Council Pos 2, reflecting active fundraising efforts. In stark contrast, several candidates, including Jessica Bachman and Joseph Ademofe, reported no contributions or expenditures, indicating a lack of financial backing. The Town of Woodway's candidates show no reported fundraising activity, highlighting a potential lack of competition. Additionally, candidates for the Edmonds School District have similarly low financial activity, with only Thomas Garrard raising $2,853. 01.
