Cultural heritage celebrated at College Place Elementary

College Place Elementary and Ballet Folklórico Xochiquetzal partnered to present a vibrant Multicultural Night, emphasizing cultural heritage and student talent. Students from second through seventh grade performed traditional Mexican dances, celebrating their cultural roots while also embracing diversity. Attendees savored a multicultural banquet featuring dishes from countries such as Ethiopia, China, Mexico, El Salvador, India, Iraq, France, and Palestine. This event not only showcases student abilities but also strengthens community ties through shared cultural experiences.
