Rodriguez, 21, and an unidentified male passenger were transported to Harborview Medical Center without wearing seatbelts. State Patrol investigators are examining the incident's cause, and it remains unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role. The vehicle was declared a total loss and subsequently removed by the Washington State Patrol.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, emphasizing the isolated nature of this incident.
