The event will take place at the Edmonds Waterfront Center, located at 220 Railroad Ave. Scordino, a retired fisheries biologist, has dedicated years to advocating for the preservation of salmon-bearing streams, creeks, and wetlands in Edmonds. His work has been instrumental in maintaining the ecological health of local waterways.

Attendees can enjoy coffee and pastries at no cost during the event. In addition to the award, Scordino will serve as the grand marshal for the Edmonds Fourth of July parade, further emphasizing his commitment to the community.
