Edmonds Elementary will host a community open house on June 9 from 6-7 p. m. to highlight its recent achievements under principal Mrs. Heather Paddock. This year, student enrollment increased from 267 to 311, reflecting a turnaround after the challenges posed by COVID-19.

Approximately 70% of students meet or exceed state standards in English Language Arts and Science, with girls reaching 80% proficiency in ELA. A renewed focus on phonics instruction in early grades and a commitment to improving student attendance have contributed to this success. The school's dedicated staff averages 18 years of teaching experience, fostering a strong educational environment. Community engagement plays a vital role in the school's culture, enhancing student achievement. Parents seeking a quality education for their children are encouraged to explore Edmonds Elementary.

The open house provides an opportunity to witness the positive changes firsthand.
