League of Women Voters Snohomish County elects new officers, honors Legends

The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County gathered on May 31 at Everett Station for its annual meeting, where new officers were elected and member achievements were celebrated. Adrienne Fraley succeeded Cathy Liu Scott as president, while Michelle Fellows, Wendy Colbert, and several others were elected to key positions. Jody Trautwein and Bob Creamer received the Legends of the League award for their longstanding commitment and influence within the organization. Trautwein played a pivotal role in organizing voter registration events and candidate forums, while Creamer was recognized for his efforts in reforming local governance. The League's membership grew to 240, making it the third largest in Washington.

Advocacy priorities for the coming year include empowering voters, responsible forest management, and advancing a constitutional amendment on redistricting.
