Celebrating winged creatures at 2025 Puget Sound Bird Fest
Hundreds of bird and nature lovers flocked to the Puget Sound Bird Fest in Edmonds, which celebrated its 21st edition this weekend. The festival took place at the Frances Anderson Center and featured guided bird walks, lectures, storytelling, and educational activities. Local experts shared insights on birding basics and the fascinating science of avian migration. Additionally, the Exhibitor Rookery showcased more than 20 booths from local conservation organizations and artists. Sunday's events will include guided nature walks at local parks, a native plant sale, and a boat cruise with Puget Sound Express.
