Homage Senior Services recently hosted its annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon to honor the vital contributions of its volunteers, who support over 25,000 older adults and individuals with disabilities in Snohomish County. Volunteer Manager Michelle Frye highlighted that volunteers are essential in fostering health, independence, and emotional well-being among community members. The organization offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, such as senior peer counseling, Meals on Wheels, and multilingual support for diverse groups. These roles enable individuals to make a meaningful impact, regardless of their availability, as opportunities are flexible. Frye acknowledged the commitment of Liberty Mutual volunteers who help serve lunch to over 120 honorees at the event.

This recognition event not only celebrates volunteers but also emphasizes the importance of community engagement in addressing local needs. Homage's volunteer programs reflect a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents, allowing them to thrive at home and within their communities. The ongoing support from volunteers is crucial for sustaining these essential services.
