Verdant Health Commission opens window for 2026 community grants

The Verdant Health Commission is now accepting funding applications from June 2 through July 11, aiming to support community nonprofits in South Snohomish County. Approximately $6 million is earmarked for programs that focus on Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Mental Health, as well as Access to Direct Health Care Services. Awards will be announced in late September 2025, with contracts starting January 1, 2026, and ending December 31, 2026. Karianna Wilson, the commission's board president, highlighted the pressing need for these services in the community. To aid potential applicants, Verdant will hold information sessions on June 6 at 9 a.

Since 2011, Verdant has invested $87 million in community health initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to improving local health access.
