McDonald McGarry Insurance to host annual shredding event and food drive June 21

Edmonds, WALocal News

McDonald McGarry Insurance will host its annual shredding event and food drive on June 21 from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m. This event, in collaboration with Grange Insurance and LeMay Mobile Shredding, allows individuals to watch their documents being shredded in real time.

Participants may bring up to four bags or boxes of sensitive personal documents, with an emphasis on early arrival due to the truck's limited capacity. In addition to document shredding, the event will collect food donations for the Edmonds Food Bank, including items for both people and pets. Cash donations are also accepted, contributing to over 10 trucks of food sent to the food bank in previous years. Local residents are encouraged to support this community effort, which highlights the importance of helping those in need. For more information, attendees can reach out via email or phone.

This initiative not only promotes document security but also fosters local charitable giving.
