Community members can meet local candidates at a Candidate Speed Dating event on June 2 at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. Sponsored by the Edmonds Civic Roundtable, the event seeks to connect voters with candidates running for Edmonds City Council, School Board, and Port Commission positions. During the event, candidates will rotate between tables, providing brief introductions followed by eight-minute sessions for attendees to ask questions. Table hosts will facilitate the discussions to maintain respectful communication. Each candidate will have the opportunity to distribute campaign literature and address additional questions after the main event.

Registration is required due to limited seating, and interested individuals can email for a Zoom option. The event reflects the community's engagement in local governance as candidates prepare for the May filing week. The Edmonds Civic Roundtable aims to foster civic participation and awareness within the community.
