During a mock committee hearing, Rattan's team proposed a bill to enhance school safety by mandating Columbine locks and increasing background checks, funded by a 7% gun tax. The bill passed with strong support, marking a significant moment in her legislative experience. Rattan's active participation reflects her dedication to addressing pressing issues in education and safety.
