Rotary Club of Lynnwood and Rotary Club of Manzini celebrate flag exchange and global grant partnership

The Rotary Club of Lynnwood hosted a flag exchange ceremony with the Rotary Club of Manzini, Eswatini, on May 15, highlighting international fellowship and service. Lindiwe Dladla, the first visiting Rotarian from Eswatini, thanked U. S. clubs for their support of the Days for Girls Global Grant. This initiative successfully raised $103,000, providing thousands of children with washable menstrual pads and supporting menstrual health education in Eswatini.

The funds enhance dignity and ensure continued access to education for many children in the region. Lynnwood Rotary Club expressed appreciation for the matching contributions from Rotary International that made the grant possible. The flag exchange symbolizes the deepening friendship and shared mission of the two clubs. Lynnwood Rotary Club meets twice a month at the Lynnwood Event Center, fostering community engagement and service. This collaboration emphasizes the impact of local initiatives on global health and education.
