Lynnwood game pub launches summer ice-cream contest May the wackiest flavor win

Edmonds, WALocal News

Around the Table Game Pub in Lynnwood is inviting local residents to participate in its Summer Ice Cream Contest by submitting unique flavor ideas by May 27. Each participant is limited to one entry, and Olympic Mountain Ice Cream will craft the top 12 selected flavors into actual products. The winners will be determined by the first four tubs of these new flavors to sell, with each winner receiving $50 in store credit. Co-owner Nick Coelho highlights the pub's dedication to fostering community involvement and collaboration with nearby businesses. Previous winning flavors have showcased a variety of profiles, including fruity and nutty combinations, but Coelho cautions against bizarre concepts like cat food ice cream.

The contest has been a staple since 2016, providing both fun and creativity for participants and customers alike. Interested individuals can visit the pub at 7600 196th St. S. W. to submit their flavor ideas.

This initiative not only promotes local engagement but also supports small businesses in the area.
