Edmonds Poets is sponsoring a free poetry workshop titled “Finding Your Voice In Poetry” on May 24, running from 1-2:30 p. m. at the Edmonds Library. The session promotes creativity through reading and writing, allowing participants to explore various poetic styles. Facilitated by Edmonds Poets members, the workshop will utilize prompts inspired by the works of Mary Oliver, Ada Limon, and Gerald Bigelow.
Attendees will have opportunities to share their poems and receive guidance on publishing their work. Handouts will be provided to assist with writing exercises, and participants are encouraged to bring their preferred writing tools. Extra writing materials will be available for those in need.
