A gathering of 120 people took place at the Bellingham Country Club to celebrate June Sorensen Crump's milestone of 100 years. Friends from Edmonds and Bellingham, along with her four sons and their families, filled the venue to honor her life. Terry Crump, her eldest son, opened the festivities, which included a custom song reflecting June's life experiences, performed on the ukulele. A slideshow created by her son Bob showcased June's journey through different eras and countries. Attendees shared cherished memories of the lessons she imparted, including cooking and financial wisdom, with her grandchildren expressing their gratitude.

June reflected on significant events she lived through, including multiple wars and presidential changes, emphasizing the importance of family and friends throughout her life. Her heartfelt remarks concluded with a standing ovation, highlighting the love and respect she commands. Invitations for her 105th birthday celebration are already being planned.
