Paine Field to host Community Day May 17

Paine Field's second annual Community Day is scheduled for May 17, running from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. The event aims to engage families by offering free airplane rides for children aged 8-17, encouraging early interest in aviation.

Teens can gain insights into local aviation programs provided by youth organizations, colleges, and flight schools. Additionally, aviation enthusiasts will have the chance to see unique aircraft, including a U. S. Navy EA-18G Growler from NAS Whidbey Island and the ZeroAvia HyperTruck. Local food vendors will enrich the atmosphere with diverse culinary options.
