On May 15, the Edmonds Waterfront Center will host a presentation on online misinformation, co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County. Stephen Prochaska, a PhD candidate at the University of Washington's Center for an Informed Public, will lead the session, which focuses on the implications of online rumors and disinformation. This initiative aligns with the Center’s mission to promote an informed society and enhance democratic discourse. The event starts at 6:30 p. m.
