St. Albans to hold drive-thru food drive May 17

Edmonds, WALocal News

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds will hold a drive-thru food drive on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m.

The food collected will support the Edmonds Food Bank and surrounding area food banks, which have struggled with rising food costs. Local food banks emphasize the importance of community support in addressing food insecurity. Recommended donations include non-perishable items such as soups, canned meat, and peanut butter, as well as diapers and infant formula. Cash donations are also accepted, with checks made payable to St. Alban’s and marked for the food drive.

The church is located at 21405 82nd Pl. W. , near the Edmonds Five Corners intersection. Parishioners and volunteers will be on hand to facilitate the collection process. Community contributions play a significant role in supplementing local food banks' efforts to feed those in need.
