Edmonds St. Albans Episcopal Church hosting free food distribution May 14

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds will host a popup food distribution event on May 14 from 3-4 p. m. , aiming to alleviate food insecurity in the area. The church will offer fresh produce, meat, and prepackaged items, all free for those in need.

Visitors can choose the food items they require, facilitated by the Edmonds Food Bank's support. The distribution truck will be parked on the north side of the church at 21405 82 Pl. W, Edmonds, with directional signs posted nearby. Furthermore, St. Alban’s has established a community "Blessings Food Pantry," which operates all day, providing various food items for free and inviting community contributions.

This ongoing initiative underscores the church's dedication to serving vulnerable populations in the Edmonds area. Food insecurity remains a pressing issue, particularly in the wake of economic challenges faced by many families.
