The Edmonds Planning Board will discuss middle housing zoning regulations at its meeting on May 7. The city has accelerated its draft code timeline to comply with state housing legislation, aiming to secure grant funding. The Edmonds Community Development Code will also be updated to reflect new parking requirements near transit stops. According to recent laws, accessory-dwelling units located within half a mile of major transit stops will not require parking. Furthermore, affordable multifamily housing within 0.
