James ‘Jim’ Harold Murphy passed away on April 27, 2025, in Edmonds, WA, at the age of 87. He was born on May 21, 1937, in Seattle and enjoyed a varied career, from working at Playland Amusement Park to becoming an expert in refrigeration design and real estate. A dedicated family man, Jim raised five children with his wife, Carole ‘Jody’ Jackson, while remaining active in his Catholic faith. He practiced his faith daily and celebrated Divine Mercy Sunday, which held special meaning for him. Jim’s love for fishing and problem-solving ingenuity made him a beloved figure among family and friends.

He was known for his humor and warmth, often lifting spirits with Irish tunes. His life will be celebrated on May 12, 2025, at Holy Rosary Church, followed by burial at Holyrood Cemetery. Jim's legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched and the memories they share.
