"Mystic Intersections" opens at Gallery North on May 1, featuring the work of Anne Prather, a digital artist and photographer. This exhibit, inspired by her book, chronicles her artistic evolution following breast cancer treatment in 2015, emphasizing her transition to near-blindness. Prather creatively adapts to her visual challenges, using color-picking techniques to mix colors, as she explains, “In my head I still have 20/20 vision. ” Visitors can explore her designs across textiles and glass, experiencing how her art interacts with everyday life. The artist's reception takes place on May 3, allowing attendees to engage directly with her work.

Additionally, Prather will participate in the Edmonds Art Walk on May 15. Gallery North has served the community for over 50 years, dedicated to promoting local art. The exhibit reflects both personal resilience and the transformative power of creativity.
