Trinity Lutheran Church sends love and warmth worldwide on Quilt Sunday

Edmonds, WALocal News

Trinity Lutheran Church celebrated its annual Quilt Sunday by showcasing more than 100 quilts crafted by its quilting ministry. These quilts are intended for families in crisis through Lutheran World Relief, emphasizing warmth and dignity for those in need. Although the production has slowed from over 200 quilts annually, the team still creates over 100 quilts each year for local and global outreach. Quilting team members described their creations as "cups of love," stitched in friendship and sent with the hope of comfort. The ministry has been a staple of the church for decades, gathering weekly to support various needs, including confirmands and emergency situations.

Participation is open to everyone, promoting community involvement and connection. The church encourages those interested to reach out for more information on how to contribute. For more details, individuals can contact the church office or visit the church's website.
