Corinthian Yacht Club offers sailors a chance to race, cruise and socialize

Corinthian Yacht Club of Edmonds triumphed in the Challenge Cup on April 27, defeating Everett’s Milltown Sailing Association with nineteen boats participating in buoy races. The club's annual racing calendar begins in February with the Winter Frostbite series and culminates in the Milltown Challenge Cup, showcasing community engagement in sailing. From May to August, races are held every Wednesday evening, while biweekly Sunday races resume in the fall, featuring the Halloween series. The Mad Dash in June focuses on beginners and families, offering a casual pursuit race to Port Ludlow. The highlight of the racing season is the Foulweather Bluff race in October, a Puget Sound Top 25 qualifier, drawing about 70 boats.

Established in 1980, CYCE emphasizes community and knowledge-sharing among sailors, creating an inviting environment for newcomers. Annual dues are set at $80, with a $60 initiation fee. Interested individuals can learn more at cycedmonds. org.
