The Dining Dog returns to Firdale Village

Edmonds, WALocal News

The Dining Dog will reopen in Edmonds’ Firdale Village on May 3, marking its return after a six-year closure. Owner Dorothy Chagas, inspired by her past Food Network appearances, has been providing gourmet dog meals and treats by reservation from her Lynnwood location. The new restaurant will feature an updated menu with à la carte options and four-course meals served on gold platters, catering to canine cuisine enthusiasts. Chagas aims to create a community hub for dog lovers, offering collaborative events such as Taco Thursdays and “Dogaraoke” nights. The restaurant will be located next to SplashDog Canine Well-Being Center, enhancing the puppy pampering experience.

Guests are reminded that dogs must remain leashed while at the restaurant. The grand reopening will occur from noon to 4 p. m. on May 3, attracting local dog owners and their pets. Chagas emphasizes her commitment to bringing joy to dogs, stating, “Even if I only serve one dog in a day, I’m happy.
