These dedicated individuals invest substantial time and effort into various aspects of the festival, ensuring everything from artist booth setup to food vendor organization is seamless. Volunteer Directors Gerri Rasmussen and Virginia Davis highlight the essential role volunteers play, as each contributes to the festival’s success through various tasks. This annual celebration not only showcases local artists and performers but also supports the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation, which funds scholarships and educational grants. Since its inception in 1958, the festival has attracted thousands to Edmonds, a city recognized for its commitment to the arts.

The event fosters community spirit and engagement while promoting local talent. Volunteers can participate in numerous ways, from assisting artists to managing hospitality, enhancing the festival's overall experience.
