Pacific Little League invites the community to its season kickoff May 3

Pacific Little League is set to host its annual Little League Day on May 3 at Lynndale Park, inviting the community to participate in various activities. The event will feature games, a parade, and food options, including burgers from Dick’s Drive-In, starting at 11 a. m. Activities will kick off at 9 a. m.

with a Slug Fest on Field 1, followed by a parade from 11 a. m. to noon. After the parade, attendees can participate in a home-run derby on Field 1 and enjoy a tic tac toe relay and timed base racing on Field 3. Two dunk tanks will also be available, allowing attendees to dunk local officials for a small fee.

Councilmember Josh Binda confirmed his participation in the dunk tank starting at 9 a. m. The event aims to celebrate the league's 80 teams and over 1,300 children participating in the 2025 season, fostering community engagement. More information can be found on the Pacific Little League website.
