Edmonds, WALocal News

The Edmonds Food Bank will host an Open House on April 27 from 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. , aiming to raise awareness about food insecurity in the area.

Last week, the Food Bank served over 1,400 families, highlighting the urgent need for support in the community. Volunteers and staff work tirelessly to assist those struggling with food access. Attendees will discover ways to contribute positively to the local community during the event. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “This country will not be a good place to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in.

” Kathy Hare, a volunteer and board chair, encourages community members to attend and get involved. The Edmonds Food Bank is located at 828 Casper St. This initiative reflects a broader commitment to addressing food insecurity and fostering community solidarity.
