Edmonds Citizen of Year will also be 4th of July Parade Grand Marshal
The Edmonds Kiwanis Club will recognize this year’s Citizen of the Year recipient as the Grand Marshal of the Edmonds Chamber’s 4th of July parade. This award honors an Edmonds resident for exceptional community service and active participation in civic affairs. Nominations for the 31st annual Citizen of the Year are open until April 30, requiring all forms to be completed and postmarked by that date. The winner will be announced in May and will be celebrated at the Edmonds Chamber Morning Buzz event during the summer. This recognition aims to motivate residents to engage in community activities and contribute positively to local life.
The Kiwanis Club emphasizes that nominees should demonstrate a commitment to improving Edmonds through their efforts. The announcement of the winner will serve as a highlight for local celebrations. This initiative reinforces the value placed on community involvement in Edmonds.
