School district to hold community QA on replacement campuses April 23

The Edmonds School District will hold a community meeting on April 23 from 6–7 p. m. at College Place Middle School to provide updates on the replacement projects for College Place Elementary and College Place Middle School. The district announced that these projects have transitioned into the design development stage, with a focus on gathering feedback from the community on the voter-approved 2024 Capital Construction Bond. Over the last year, the district has conducted eight Design Review Committee meetings, two community meetings, and various sessions with the Steering Committee and focus groups to refine designs based on community input.

The design process will continue over the next two years, and construction is set to begin in summer 2026. The new schools are expected to be ready for students for the 2028-2029 school year, marking a significant development in local education infrastructure.
