Gallery North proudly presents its featured exhibit for April 2025, showcasing the vibrant works of Leanna Leitzke in "Connections through Art. " Beginning her artistic journey at just three years old, Leitzke credits her mother’s support and her fascination with art history as foundational to her creative expression. She argues that the most essential aspect of art is the freedom to express oneself without the limitations of conventional art education. Her self-taught approach has led to numerous accolades in juried exhibitions, with her paintings now cherished in cities from Paris to London and across the United States. The exhibit will be available for viewing from April 1-30, with a special opportunity to meet Leitzke during the Third Thursday ArtWalk on April 17th from 5-8 pm.

Gallery North has dedicated over 60 years to promoting local art, operating seven days a week to support artists and engage the community. The gallery is conveniently located at 401 Main St. , Edmonds, and more information can be found on their website. Leitzke's enthusiasm for her craft is palpable, as she expresses her eagerness to share her evolving body of work with the world.
