The Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Club leads the festivities with an egg hunt at Frances Anderson Playfield on April 19, starting at 10 a. m. Children will have the chance to collect chocolate eggs, candy, and prizes while families are encouraged to bring baskets and non-perishable food or cash donations for the Edmonds Food Bank. In the afternoon, St.

Alban’s Episcopal Church will host its fourth annual Community Easter Egg Hunt, featuring unique elements like a “blue egg” project with nut-free candy and sound-emitting eggs for visually impaired guests. This inclusive approach allows all children to participate, with accessible grounds and collection bags provided. The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance for memorable photos. Other local churches are joining in the celebration, further enriching the community spirit during this festive time.
