Annie Crawley, an award-winning filmmaker and passionate ocean advocate, will be the keynote speaker at the Earth Day celebration on April 22 at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. Her multimedia presentation, "Our Power-Our Voice-Our Planet," promises to engage the community by exploring the history of Earth Day and showcasing inspiring stories of nature’s resilience. Crawley emphasizes the importance of community action in creating lasting environmental change, stating, “When we protect our backyard, we protect our community and ourselves. ” The evening will also feature more than a dozen local environmental organizations that will host exhibit tables, providing resources and opportunities for attendees to get involved in local initiatives.
