Edmonds, WALocal News

Art Start Northwest is excited to announce its second annual Student Art Show at the Graphite Arts Center on April 17, showcasing an impressive collection of over 300 student artworks from five local partner schools. This event aims to highlight the positive impact of the Art Start NW School Program and is a significant expansion from last year’s exhibition, which featured 100 pieces. The reception will take place during Art Walk Edmonds, making it a vibrant community event. Teachers in attendance will have the opportunity to win door prizes, while children can participate by voting for their favorite artwork in the Kid’s Choice Award. Guests can also enjoy a crafting table and refreshments, enhancing the interactive experience.

Additionally, a silent auction will feature donated pieces from local artists to support the School Program. The show will remain open for public viewing on April 18 from 1-5 p. m. and April 19 from 12-4 p. m.
