Activists plan to continue protests at EdmondsShoreline border April 19

Edmonds, WALocal News

Activists in the Shoreline and Edmonds area are gearing up for continued protests against the Trump administration's policies, following the momentum from the Hands Off! rally on April 5. The next demonstration is set for April 19, taking place at the intersection of Highway 99/Aurora Avenue North and North 205th St. This rally is part of “A National Day of Action,” initiated by the national group 50501, which aims to unify protests across all 50 states. Organizers from Everyday Activists, a local group, are actively promoting the event via their website and social media.

The previous rally saw thousands participating, showcasing the community's commitment to advocacy. As national policies continue to provoke public outcry, these protests serve as a platform for expressing dissent and mobilizing grassroots action. Activists hope to draw attention to pressing issues and foster solidarity among like-minded individuals. The upcoming event is expected to further amplify local voices in the ongoing national discourse.
