Housing Hope appoints Kathryn Opina as interim CEO - My Edmonds News

Kathryn Opina has been appointed as the interim chief executive officer for Housing Hope and its subsidiary, HopeWork, following the departure of former CEO Donna Moulton, who left to attend to family matters. Opina has been with Housing Hope for two years, serving as the lead operations and general administrator. Under her leadership, Housing Hope has managed 601 affordable housing units across 24 locations in Snohomish County and has helped 328 households achieve homeownership through its Team HomeBuilding program. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit fiscal and operations management, including significant tenure with the Salvation Army, Opina is well-equipped to steer the organization during this transitional phase. The Housing Hope Executive Board expressed confidence in her leadership, emphasizing her collaborative approach and commitment to the agency's mission.

As the board searches for a permanent CEO, they look forward to working with Opina and the strategic leadership team. This appointment underscores the importance of continuity in leadership for organizations that serve critical community needs.
