Edmonds Planning Board Seeks New Member

The City of Edmonds is actively seeking residents to fill a vacancy on the Edmonds Planning Board as an alternate member. This board is essential for advising the Mayor and City Council on comprehensive planning, rezoning, and other significant land use issues affecting the community. Among the pressing matters to be reviewed are the multi-family design standards and the upcoming update of the Climate Action Plan, highlighting the city's commitment to sustainable development. Meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7 p. m.

, currently via Zoom, with a return to in-person meetings anticipated when conditions allow. Interested individuals can apply online or by contacting the planning department directly. Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p. m. on February 25, 2022.
