The day begins with a free community event at the Edmonds Center for the Arts from noon to 2 p. m. , featuring captivating performances, including the Mak Fai Lion Dance and a breakdancing show by the Massive Monkees. A vibrant public market will follow at Civic Field, where attendees can enjoy food trucks, live music, and a beer garden.

The evening will feature a ticketed event at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, hosted by KING-5’s Mimi Jung, showcasing various performances and a lion dance mini parade. Additionally, artwork celebrating the Lunar New Year will be on display throughout February, created by local artists. This celebration not only highlights the cultural significance of the Lunar New Year but also fosters community spirit and inclusivity.
