Mayor Rosen's 2025 Budget Address

Mayor Mike Rosen is inviting the Edmonds community to attend the 2025 Budget Address on October 1, 2024, at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. This significant event, starting at 5:30 PM, will focus on the city’s financial strategies and priorities for the upcoming year. Acting Finance Director Kim Dunscombe will assist in the presentation, providing valuable insights into the budgetary process. To encourage community participation, doors will open at 5:10 PM, and the address will also be livestreamed via Zoom for those unable to attend in person. Closed captioning will be available to ensure accessibility for all citizens.

After the address, a copy of the proposed budget will be published on the City’s website, allowing residents to review the plans discussed. This initiative underscores the city's commitment to transparency and public engagement in local governance. The video of the budget address will be uploaded for future viewing, fostering ongoing dialogue within the community.
