On April 9, 2025, a virtual media relations panel will take place from noon to 1:30 p. m. , offering valuable insights for nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations looking to enhance their media presence. This free webinar aims to equip participants with skills in writing effective news releases and understanding what constitutes an appealing news story. Notable speakers include Essex Porter, a retired KIRO-TV journalist, and Diana Opong, a reporter from KUOW-FM and NPR, who will share their extensive knowledge and experience.

Additionally, Teresa Wippel, president and CEO of My Neighborhood News Network, and Kevin P. Henry, a reporter for KBCS-FM, will provide expert perspectives on media engagement.
